Agamemnon Davarius, also called The Arch-Heretic, was one of the 20 genetically engineered Phylarchs created by The Dave King, created from his own genetic material mixed with that of Captain Gacce

He was the Phylarch and progenitor of The III legion of Hastati, he also claimed the title of Regal Adjutant, Imperial Regent and The Dave King's favoured son.

His homeworld was the mining colony of Graia, which was found only a few lightyears from Daerth, leading to his position as the third Phylarch to be reclaimed.

Agamemnon was responsible for the galaxy-tearing catastrophe of The Wars Of Apostasy, which killed billions of men, women and children in his mad bid for control over Davekind.

Despite his eventual loss and death by the hands of his once so beloved father at The Daerthian Split, the damage of his war had already been done. The Dave King had been left a barely-living corpse, and The IDE became a stagnant, dehumanising empire, fighting for it's continued existence against ever-pressing enemies and threats.

Notable Campaigns

The First Crusade

The Arch-Heretic began his duty as a Phylarch during the very early days of the Great Crusade, in which he earned The Dave King's respect and trust for such notable victories as The Battle Of Cattyr and The Burning Of Graia. During this campaign, he soon rose to be The Dave King's right hand.

The Second Crusade

Once his brothers had all been returned, the war for the galaxy began anew. The legions of The Hastati liberated planets from the grasp of Davekind's enemies, some of whom had existed since The First Peace at a minimum. Agamemnon especially felt righteous in ending evils such as The Eradication Drones and The Hive.

The Wars Of Apostasy

Perhaps the most well-known amongst the scholars and lords of The IDE, The Wars Of Apostasy are redacted and forbidden knowledge to all citizens of the many colony worlds. These wars are the reason behind the title 'Arch-Heretic.'

Armaments

The Arch-Heretic always preferred to wear a masterfully crafted suit of delta pattern armour, adorned beautiful filigree and ornaments. In his left hand, he wielded a chain-sword with teeth made from crystals of pure psychic resonance — he named it Thirst. In his right, a clawed gauntlet dubbed Hunger.
